Standard Chartered Expects Mid-Range Income Growth for 2026

Standard Chartered, a global bank, said on 1 October 2026 it expects 2026 operating income, the money it earns from its main business, to grow about the middle of its 5 to 7 per cent range. The forecast ignores currency swings, meaning changes in exchange rates, and large one-off items. Its third-quarter results arrive 28 October.
