New Zealand First recruits experienced politicians from other parties

New Zealand First is hiring experienced former MPs from Labour and National to run in local electorate races. These include Stuart Nash, a former Labour minister, and Alfred Ngaro. Traditionally, the party relied on party-vote rankings to enter Parliament. Now it's trying a different approach: using well-known local candidates instead.
