Waymo's Driverless Taxis Now Operating in Four New Cities

Waymo activated self-driving taxis in Las Vegas on July 8, with Denver, San Francisco, and Tampa starting within days. Rides are limited to employees before opening to the public. The expansion brings Waymo's driverless service to more than 10 US cities. This is the first time self-driving taxi networks operate across multiple cities with different climates and traffic patterns without backup drivers in the car.
