Sammy Hajhamid, who publishes as pepsipu, says OpenAI's AI coding tool Codex helped build ns2jb. The software-only Switch 2 hack is tethered to a computer and targets firmware (system software) 23.0.1. Each boot requires relaunching from SmileBASIC 4.

In my view, Codex matters more than the hack: one stated case, but a concrete data point on AI-assisted hacking.
