ACT wants tougher rules for repeat burglars

ACT's Nicole McKee wants to introduce a 'Three Strikes' rule for burglary: anyone convicted a third time would get three years in prison with no chance of early release. The government brought back Three Strikes last year for violent crimes. Any change needs Cabinet approval first, so this is still a proposal.
