Discord Glitch Left 8,000 Users Locked Out for Two Months

A software error on Discord permanently banned over 8,000 users starting in May 2026, when an automated system meant to flag content instead locked them out entirely — even after human moderators cleared them. About 200 were banned just for posting images in grid format. Users had no way to appeal. All accounts have now been restored.
