New Smart Glasses Ditch the Camera to Win Privacy-Conscious Buyers
Solos launched the AirGo A6, lightweight smart glasses without a camera. At 19 grams—half the weight of its older model—it uses voice commands for tasks like translation and calendar reminders through small speakers built into the frames. Solos is betting many people want smart-glasses features but worry about privacy when cameras are involved. The older camera-equipped model is still available. Price and release date haven't been announced.
