iFixit Now Helps Fix Your Appliances, Not Just Phones

iFixit released a new $35 tool kit on July 7 designed for fixing household appliances and furniture instead of just electronics. The Megalodon kit includes a screwdriver with a snap-on head (no twisting needed), 16 different bit sizes for various fastener types, and a magnetic case to organize parts. State laws now let consumers repair their own appliances, and iFixit is meeting that demand.
