
Italian software company goes public, stock price jumps 40% on first day
Bending Spoons, an Italian company that buys other software businesses, started trading on Nasdaq on July 1. The stock price jumped 40% immediately, briefly valuing the company at $25 billion—more than double what investors had valued it at privately. Revenue grew from $387 million in 2023 to $1.31 billion in 2025 after acquiring companies like AOL and Vimeo.
