Trump plan to buy fuel from Russia to cut prices
President Donald Trump announced Oct. 12 the U.S. will buy diesel fuel for tractors and trucks from Russia, after the U.S. relaxed punishment rules blocking such sales. He says it will help farmers and ranchers after pump prices rose over 60% during the war in Iran. Republicans and Democrats say it would give money to Russia's war in Ukraine.
