Tool Designed to Spot AI-Written Fanfic Has a Major Weakness

A browser add-on that tries to identify text written by an AI tool called Claude relies on invisible digital markers. The problem: those markers disappear if you copy the text into Google Docs or Word first. The AI company could also wipe them out with a simple software update. The tool catches carelessness, not deliberate hiding.
