Poll shows huge difference in whether Republicans and Democrats feel proud to be American

A new poll asked Americans if they're proud to be American. Overall, 65% said yes. But Republicans and Democrats gave very different answers: 93% of Republicans said yes, while only 45% of Democrats did. That gap matters for close election races coming in 2026.
