Which toy safety rules will New Zealand follow?

New Zealand wants to accept American and European toy safety approvals so importers don't have to test toys twice. But Europe is switching to new rules in 2026 and running both old and new ones at the same time. Officials haven't said yet whether New Zealand will accept the old rules, the new ones, or both — so importers don't know what paperwork they need.
