Paramount Buys Warner Bros. Discovery

Paramount has bought Warner Bros. Discovery, finishing the deal on Oct. 6, 2026, Reuters reported. The two will now work as one business called Skydance, led by chief executive David Ellison. Decoder looked at the deal on Oct. 10 with Peter Kafka, chief correspondent at Business Insider.
