
Iran Peace Talks Could Make Oil Cheaper
Trump announced Iran wants to meet June 30 in Doha with U.S. envoys Kushner and Witkoff. Iran controls key oil supplies and the Strait of Hormuz, where one-fifth of the world's traded oil passes through. Oil prices include a fear factor—extra cost built in because of war risks. If talks reduce that fear, oil could fall. Any sign of easing sanctions would move prices immediately.
