T-Mobile Consolidates Customer Billing Systems in July

T-Mobile will automatically move customers from older plans to its 5G service starting July 13, 2026, retiring over 1,100 billing variations in the process. The scale reflects years of accumulated complexity from its 2020 Sprint acquisition, which left T-Mobile managing competing rate structures and regional differences. Business customers managing large accounts should review their plans now; most personal customers using current plans will see little change.
