Willis and Edmonds disagree on how families are handling money

National's Nicola Willis and Labour's Barbara Edmonds disagreed on 6 October on RNZ's Morning Report, a morning radio news show, about how households — family budgets — are going. Willis said some were better off than three years ago. Edmonds said people told her they still could not afford enough food or petrol for their cars.
