Trump Plans $6.6 Billion Factory in Baltimore to Build Submarine Parts

Donald Trump on October 6, 2026, announced Arsenal Two, a $6.6 billion factory owned by Anduril at Sparrows Point in Baltimore. It would make tubes that fire torpedoes and body sections for Virginia-class submarines, fast attack ships that run on nuclear power. The money is $2.9 billion from the Navy plus $3.7 billion private. Anduril says work starts in 2030.
