French teenager badly hurt during protest over school money
A 15-year-old boy in northern France lost his hand and part of his arm on Oct. 5 after picking up a police explosive, like a small bomb used to break up crowds, during fights between high-school students and police, La Voix du Nord reported. Students across France are protesting because they say high schools need more money.
