Children Killed in Gaza's Supposedly Safe Zone

Israeli strikes in al-Mawasi, a area marked off as safe for civilians in Gaza, have killed multiple children since the October 2025 ceasefire ended. A 12-year-old boy died on June 24; a girl died June 27. Most displaced Gazans are families with children. When children die in places meant to protect them, it raises hard questions about whether the rules of war are being followed.
