Quebec party would wait to ask voters about leaving Canada

Parti Québécois Leader Paul St-Pierre Plamondon says if his party wins, Quebecers would get a direct vote on whether Quebec should separate from Canada. He says that vote would wait until after U.S. President Donald Trump leaves office in 2029. Quebec votes Oct. 5 to choose its next provincial government.
