Green Party Rejects Its Own Leader's Donation

The Green Party returned money from its leader, Zack Polanski, because he is not registered to vote in the UK. Political fundraising rules say only registered voters can donate to parties. The party properly reported this to the Electoral Commission, the body that oversees campaign finance. This appears to be the first time a major British party has rejected a donation from its own leader.
