Children's meals and family days out cost less this summer

The government will charge less tax on children's restaurant meals and family outings from 25 June to 1 September 2026. Children's food and tickets to cinemas, zoos, aquariums and theme parks will cost 5% tax instead of the usual 20%. The scheme applies across the whole UK.
