Manitoba Conservatives pick a temporary leader

Manitoba's Progressive Conservatives have made Konrad Narth, who represents La Vérendrye in the legislature, their temporary leader. The party's elected members chose him in a private meeting Sept. 29, a day after leader Obby Khan quit and left to work alone, blaming internal fighting. Narth said the party is united and will pick a permanent leader later.
