Nigerian Women Protect Communities from Armed Groups

In northeastern Nigeria, women's organizations are stopping young people from joining armed groups by sharing information about recruitment and offering economic support. International organizations cannot work in these areas safely, so local groups fill that gap. These women have trust in their communities that outsiders lack. But their work remains dangerous and funding remains unclear.
