Cuba's Last Revolutionary Leader Dies, Leaving Government Without Its Founding Figures

Ramiro Valdés Menéndez, one of the original fighters who helped Fidel Castro take power in 1959, died June 21 at 94. His death removes the last link between today's Cuban government and the revolution that created it.
