High Court Upholds Conviction in Famous Missing Child Case from 1979

The nation's highest court ruled 6-3 to restore a murder conviction against Pedro Hernandez in the case of Etan Patz, a six-year-old who vanished in 1979. A lower court had thrown out the conviction last year. Now Hernandez will serve 25 years to life in prison.
