Meta to put 3D stand-ins on its glasses

Meta said Sept. 23 at Connect that holographic avatars, 3D stand-ins, are coming to its new VR glasses and Ray-Ban Display frames. The VR version shows your full body, tracked by cameras and sensors facing you. The Ray-Ban display version uses Meta's Muse Realtime Avatar model, software that builds the face instantly.
