FDA Team Votes on New Test That Looks for Cancer

FDA's Molecular and Clinical Genetics Panel meets Sept. 23, 2026 to discuss, advise and vote on whether to approve Grail's Galleri, a lab test that scans DNA for chemical fingerprints linked to cancer. Grail applied Jan. 29, 2026. Grail says FDA listed it as a Breakthrough Device, for faster review, in 2018.
