A Dangerous Bird Flu Has Finally Reached Australia

A highly contagious flu strain found in wild seabirds in western Australia last June has now spread to every continent. Scientists believe migrating birds carried the virus from overseas. Australia's chicken and turkey farms are now at risk; if the virus reaches them, other countries will ban imports and the farms will have to destroy their flocks.
