Anthropic, which makes the AI assistant Claude, will soon require users to prove their age and identity. This sets an example for other AI companies like OpenAI and Google. Governments have wanted AI companies to track who creates what output, partly to stop fraud and false information. If other companies follow, this could become how AI works everywhere.
