A Long Pipeline Fight Continues

The Dakota Access oil pipeline now carries up to 750,000 barrels — large metal drums of oil — each day from North Dakota to a plant in Illinois that processes oil. It was built by Energy Transfer Partners. The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe says its fight continues, as tribal leaders marked 10 years since protests.
