Jordan's King to Speak at Big U.N. Meeting

Jordan's King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein is scheduled to speak when the 81st yearly U.N. meeting of world leaders starts in New York on 22 September 2026 and continues until 26 September. Countries that speak first can set the tone for later talks. Jordan has previously used its speeches to focus on Gaza and the future for Palestinians.
