Oil company bosses bought shares even as end of war could cut prices

Bosses at oil and gas companies were buying shares in their own firms, MarketWatch reported September 19, 2026, even though a sudden end to the Iran war could lower oil prices and hurt energy stocks. I see it as a sign they think their companies can cope with lower prices, not that they expect fighting to go on.
