
Borrowing costs dip as oil gets cheaper
Borrowing costs for the U.S. fell Sept. 17 because oil got cheaper, LiveMint reported, Reuters confirming both fell together. The 10-year loan rate, like a thermostat for mortgages, was set for its biggest one-day drop in over three weeks. In my view, short relief for borrowers, not a lasting shift. Oil still decides.
