Volunteers Get Old Amiga Computer System Running Again

The AmigaUX volunteers asokero, isoriano1968 and jusii have Amix 2.1, Unix for Amiga computers, working on real machines with 68040 and 68060 chips, including new speed add-ons. Their unofficial version offers floppy-disk and CD installation, automatic setup, the OpenLook windows-style screen, and building tools that run on Linux. It was due to debut at Saku 2026 in Oulu, Finland.
