Reform UK makes strong showing in Labour heartland

Labour's Josh Simons won the Makerfield seat on 4 July with 45.2% of votes. But Reform UK's Robert Kenyon came second with nearly a third of the vote—an unusually strong result in an area Labour has held for decades.
