WSJ Says Betting Site Polymarket Grew Too Fast, Risked Fraud

The Wall Street Journal reported Sept. 20 that Polymarket, a $9 billion website where people bet on events using digital money, grew faster than its safety checks. That left it open to cheaters. CEO Shayne Coplan brushed aside concerns about a stolen bank card scheme, the Journal said. The company is now hiring more top managers.
