Drone attacks hit Russian fuel plants, risking higher prices

Three of Russia's six biggest diesel plants cut or stopped making fuel in September 2026 after drone attacks, Reuters reported. Russia sells a lot of diesel to other countries, so less fuel can mean higher prices at the pump and to heat homes. Other plants worldwide were already working flat out, so I see little room to make extra.
