Police stop banned anti-immigration protest in The Hague

Dutch riot police in The Hague broke up several hundred far-right protesters, opposing immigration, in Malieveld park on 19 September. The march against immigration policy, organized by We Are the People, had been banned. Officers used pepper spray and water cannon, stinging eyes and blasting water, after fireworks were thrown at them and a police car was set on fire.
