Hyundai Now Fully Owns Boston Dynamics, a Robotics Company

Hyundai Motor Group has bought out SoftBank's remaining share of Boston Dynamics for $325 million, giving Hyundai complete ownership. The company is now valued at roughly $3.4 billion—three times what Hyundai paid in 2020. Hyundai now plans to deploy Atlas, a humanoid robot, in U.S. factories by 2028 without needing approval from other owners.
