Moscow Online Voting Hit by Big Attack During Election

Moscow’s system for voting online faced a big, non-stop attack, like flooding a website, overnight into September 19, 2026, Russian officials said, on day two of Russia’s September 18-20 parliament election. Election chief Ella Pamfilova said voting worked normally, without saying how or by whom. It is Russia’s first parliament vote since the 2022 invasion of Ukraine.
