Head of AI company Anthropic suggests slowing down powerful AI

Anthropic head Dario Amodei said makers of the most powerful AI should slow down to allow outside safety checks. He suggested three steps: letting independent inspectors work inside labs like staff, getting companies in the same country to follow the same safety rules, and creating global agreements with help from governments.
