Montréal to Host World Bicycle Championships in September 2026

Montréal will host the world road cycling championships on 20-27 September 2026, with men’s and women’s road races and time trials, where riders race against the clock. It is Montréal’s second turn after 1974, the first held outside Europe, and Canada’s third after Hamilton 2003. Cycling body UCI says it is part of 50 years since the 1976 Montréal Olympics.
