Coalition wants three school topics cut

Opposition education spokesman Julian Leeser announced the Coalition plan in Sydney on September 19, 2026, to cut three threads woven through all school subjects: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures, learning about Asia, and sustainability.
