Brazil Raises Money Help for Poor Families Before Election

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva signed an order on 17 September raising Bolsa Família, Brazil's monthly money help for poor families, 15% to 691 reais. It starts 19 October, between the 4 October first vote and likely 25 October second vote. It serves about 50 million people and started in 2003 when Lula was president the first time.
