NAACP Group Sues to Keep Federal Officers Away From November Voting

A NAACP-led group sued Trump administration officials Sept. 18 to keep federal officers from November voting sites. It says threats to send officers scare voters, like standing over someone voting, breaking a U.S. voter-protection law that also bans armed federal officers at polls. No large deployment is ordered; court must decide if threats alone scare voters.
