Unions Want AI Talk on Jobs Now

Actors' union SAG-AFTRA and the East Coast writers' union said debate over AI, computers that write and create images, should address creative jobs now, not fears it could destroy humanity. They told The Verge in comments published Sept. 18, unlike recent doomsday warnings from King Charles, the UN rights chief and Chinese officials.
