Smaller AI That Still Works Almost as Well

PrismML released Bonsai 2 27B, a shrunken copy of Alibaba's free Qwen3.8 27B. Like packing tighter for travel, it rounds settings to just +1, -1 or 0 instead of 16-bit numbers, shrinking to 5.9GB using 9 to 10 times less memory. PrismML says it keeps 98% of test scores, up from 95% for its March version downloaded 11 million times.
