Labour plan to punish firms over deaths

Labour says if elected it would make a law to punish companies and bosses when unsafe work kills someone. Workplace relations and safety spokesperson Jan Tinetti said guilty people could face life in prison and firms fines up to $10 million. She said unions, employers and Pike River families helped write the plan.
